# Dynmap Installation for a Minecraft Server

Setting up Dynmap Installation for a Minecraft Server is quite a simple process. Here are the steps you need to follow:



## Step 1: Go to the game panel

Open your game panel and navigate to the plugin section of your Minecraft server.
Search for Dynmap or go to the official Spigot page to download the plugin.

**Tip:** Make sure you have the correct version of the plugin.



## Step 2: Install the plugin

* Fully stop your server via the game panel.
* Upload the downloaded `.jar` file to the **plugins** folder of your server.



## Step 3: Configure Dynmap

* Restart your server so Dynmap can generate the configuration files.
* Create a port in your network/firewall settings.
* Open `plugins/dynmap/configuration.txt` and adjust the settings as desired.

**Important setting:**

webserver-port: 8123
```

Change this to the port you created.



## Step 4: Start the server

* Restart the server again after configuration.
* Go to:

http://node-1.cablehosting.net:(PORT)
```

to open Dynmap in your browser.
